Lake Taupo Forest Trust administers the interests of some 11,000 plus land owners of some 135 land blocks located in the Ngati Tuwharetoa rohe. The Trust is presently holding substantial funds on behalf of land owners in these blocks whose contact details are unknown

EAST TAUPO LANDS TRUST - Education Grants/Kaumatua Grants
East Taupo Lands Trust (Consisting of Kaimanawa, Tapapa, Wharetoto and Runanga Blocks) makes grants to owners or descendants of owners pursuing tertiary studies at university, polytechnic, or in vocational training.
Open 1st April in each year and close 31st May in each year. Details and application for grants can be downloaded by visiting the ETLT website.
