(a) Resolutions to amend the Trustees fees will be presented at the AGM
Trust Order Variations - Trustees will be seeking owners’ approval to:
(a) Include Ngati Tutetawha Hapu to the Third Schedule of the Trust Order to receive annual marae
grants in accordance with clause 3(e)(i)
(b) Increase the Trust’s total annual distribution of Marae grants under clause 3(e)(ii), from $150,000 to $170,000 per annum
Discussion of Special Requisition of Owners concerning:
(a) Trustees decision-making on aerial applications of 1080 on Trust lands
(b) Variations to the trust order to enable individual block by block voting by owners on 1080 use and on consultation procedures.

LAKE ROTOAIRA FOREST TRUST MARAE GRANTS – 2011

The trustees of Lake Rotoaira Forest Trust wish to advise owners of the successful recipients of the 2011 Marae grants.

Waihi Marae received the capital grant of $64,000. Their project involves the upgrading of their water supply. The project will benefit both the Marae and the local village.
Poupatate Marae received a maintenance grant of $9,851. The grant will assist with the purchase and installation of new extractor fans in the kitchen and an upgrade to the food preparation areas.
Te Tikanga Marae received a maintenance grant of $6,149. The grant will assist with completing the hangi preparation area – power, plumbing, lining walls, installing stainless steel work benches and meat railings.

The Trust distributes Marae grants totalling $80,000 each year. Applications generally open around June of each year and close in September the same year. Two grants are available:

A grant of $64,000 for major capital works;
A grant of $16,000 for maintenance work.

Lake Rotoaira Forest Trust Provides grants to benefit the health of Rotoaira Forest owners who are aged 65 years and more.
