Application Dates

Applications are now open from 1 March 2025 and close 31 March 2025.

Value of Grants

The value of the grants will depend on the number of successful applicants.

Persons Eligible

To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicant must be an owner or descendant of an owner in the Lake Taupō Forest Trust (shareholder number to be obtained by calling the Lake Taupō Forest Trust office)
2. A full-time student enrolled at an NZQA accredited University, College of Education, Polytechnic or Whare Wananga. (This does not include Secondary School).
3. Studying in one of the following fields: Forestry, Finance, Business Management, Law, Science, Engineering, Environmental (Taiao), Information Technology, GIS Mapping or Marketing, Te Reo Māori, Health Professionals.

Application Forms

For your application to be considered, the following requirements must be met:

• Complete all parts of the application form.
• Confirmation of Enrolment and Payment: You must provide clear proof of both enrolment and payment from your tertiary provider. Please note that no free courses will be eligible for consideration.
• Provide a verified bank account number from your bank.
• Incomplete applications will be declined.
