Lake Taupo Forest Trust

Nau mai haere mai

In 1968 the Māori Land Court Order established the Lake Taupō Forest Trust to represent the interests of the owners of 68 separate Māori land titles on the eastern shores of Lake Taupō. The Trust now acts on behalf of more than 13,000 beneficial owners who retain their shares in the lands.

Lake Taupō Forest Management acts as the Trust’s forestry advisor.

Learn about the Trust, the history, the people who make up the team and keep up to date on what is happening with the whenua and ngahere.

If you are a beneficial owner of shares in Lake Taupō Forest Trust please review the Owner Services section. In conjunction with Lake Taupō Charitable Trust, information on the Grants administered by the Trust is outlined.

We have no contact details for a large amount of our owners. Check this list by pressing the Owner Search button.
