We are pleased to have reopened sections of forest to hunting and recreation.
Owner access was severely disrupted by Cyclone Gabrielle and the subsequent recovery work but after recent discussions with NZ Forest Managers, the following was agreed, starting from this Saturday, 1 June 2024:
- All LTFT land north of Kiko Road is open for owner access.
- Public access to Kaimanawa Forest park via Kiko Road will reopen.
Please note owner access from Kiko Road south will remain closed while the last of the salvage is completed. Click here for Map
